>Post nasal drip
Pressure in the sinuses can cause severe pain, headaches and discomfort to the patient. Sufferers of sinus type pressure can usually feel pain around the eyes, forehead and nose, and pain in the upper teeth.
If you are not aware of it, then you should know that your sinuses have opening which are known as ostium. This opens into the nasal passage and allows free exchange of air and mucus. These mucous linings have ciliated epitheliums that move the mucus from the sinus cavities and into the nasal passages for drainage.
>Cold and flu
>And other allergens such as mold, air dust, pet dander and pollution.
If sinus type pressure symptoms are not treated, you may be predisposed to future bacterial sinus infections. If left untreated, this sinus pressure and the sinus pressure symptoms can make your frontal sinus area very sensitive to touch. You should remember that pressure is usually the main cause of sinus pain and this may eventually lead to sinusitis, headache and even a sinus infection.
